Bar Louie, a recently opened tapas bar in Olen, entrusted me with the exciting task of creating a brand identity from scratch and to establish an online presence through a modern, user-friendly website that also drives foot traffic.
As Bar Louie was a brand-new venture, we crafted a brand identity from the ground up. The logo was kept fairly simple with a sleek wordmark set in a serif typeface to evoke a classy vibe.
We introduced a pattern that could then be used throughout the different applications of the branding, which can provide a recognisable visual element.
As part of the branding, we created a bunch of different applications, including business cards, placemats, menus, coasters and much more.
The website is a very straightforward one-pager that not only fits in perfectly with the new branding, but also provides all the information potential guests might need. It showcases the delicious food and homemade cocktails through big, vibrant imagery.
The site also provides quick links to the menu, so people can already browse their appetising list of tapas. We present people with social proof through raving reviews that others had already left on Google and we serve the users with all the necessary information you would need to make a reservation or make a visit to the bar itself.
